Some things in life are too hard to tackle alone. Life can feel very difficult and talking to someone who is completely impartial can be helpful.
I understand that just making the decision to see a counsellor is a big step, so how do you choose which therapist to work with?
I believe that a supportive environment and trusting relationship with your therapist is essential to promote healing and subsequent change.
I can provide a safe, clear space for you to look at what you find difficult in your life.
The work we do is collaborative and guided by you, we can decide whether we work together in the short or long term.
By providing a non-judgmental setting, I can help you gain a deeper insight into yourself, enabling you to bring about the change

Shana Golding is qualified with a 1st Class Hons Degree in Integrative-Relational Counselling. She is an Accredited member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) and abides by their code of ethics, attending regular supervision and continual professional development.

This experience includes a busy NHS GP surgery, working with GP referred clients, as an Associate Counsellor at a women's charitable agency and an Associate Counsellor at a London University. She's helped client's with a broad range of presenting issues, such as depression, anxiety, loss, relationship issues, infertility issues, self-harm, work related bullying and obsessive compulsive behaviours.
Shana's worked privately as a Partner at The Practice, a private counselling group based in Surrey and currently works as an affiliate with a large health insurance organisation seeing clients through their Employee Assistance Programme.
Shana sees clients at her counselling rooms in East Sheen, SW14 which serves clients in the South West London area and works with both adults and couples.
During our life span we encounter many types of relationships; friends, relatives, work colleagues and sexual relationships, in a couple or more open. Break down in any of these relationships could bring us to want to improve things with therapy.
I have undertaken training in relationship therapy to be able to offer support to those in romantic relationships of two people (or more), parent and adult child relationships, or work colleagues. Relationship and couple therapy can be a space to reflect on the relationship dynamics, gain insight and share truthfully with support.
